ABOUT MERI

At age nine, Meri Stypinski’s fate was sealed by a PBS special. Watching Les Misérables from her South Jersey living room, she fell head over heels for musical theatre—no turning back. Since then, she has been shockingly, devastatingly devoted to acting, actors, and the art of teaching.

She honed her craft at the Boston Conservatory, where she earned her degree in theatre and took on the titular role in Lysistrata on the Mainstage her senior year. Today, she balances life as both a working actor and a dedicated teacher, helping young performers build confidence, trust their instincts, and step into their full artistic potential.

Meri is a proud member of the Hanover Theatre Repertory Company and can be found on stages across New England. When she’s not performing, she’s teaching at Spotlight Theatre, the Hanover Theatre Conservatory, or in her private studio, guiding the next generation of actors with a mix of deep technique, playful exploration, and just a little bit of magic.

Meri has two private lessons open in her studio, ongoing classes, and availability as an actor.
